pilgrims Need to Avoid Those Things When Travelling for Umrah

Things Pilgrims Need to Avoid During Umrah 1. Neglecting Intention (Niyyah) Avoid performing rituals without clear intention. Why? Umrah is an act of worship, and intention is a key requirement in Islam. 2. Wearing Improper Ihram Clothing Men: Should not wear stitched clothing (like shirts or underwear). Women: Should avoid clothing that resembles men's dress or is too tight or transparent. 3. Engaging in Arguments or Conflicts Avoid disputes, raising voices, or fighting. Qur’an Reminder: “...there should be no obscenity, nor wickedness, nor wrangling in the Hajj...” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:197) 4. Wasting Time on Phones or Social Media Avoid excessive use of devices for non-beneficial activities. Focus on duas, dhikr, and reflection. 5. Ignoring the Rights of Others Avoid pushing, cutting lines, or being inconsiderate, especially in crowded areas like Tawaf or Sa’i. 6. Taking Photos or Videos Excessively Avoid disturbing others or turning the experience into a photo session. Be mindful that the Haram is a sacred space.
